Selecting a difficulty level below will produce a combination of settings that falls roughly within the ballpark of the vanilla version of that level. For example, I calculate vanilla Stalker to have weighted difficulty total of 196 points. Vanilla Interloper has a weighted difficulty total of 260. Using this tool will produce a custom Stalker challenge with a difficulty total between 196 and 260.
